What is Charge point?

A charge point is the physical charger. One charge point can have one or more EVSEs and connectors, and it connects to a CMS (CPMS) over OCPP.

Operators usually count their network in charge points or in EVSEs. A charger with two sockets that can charge two cars at once is one charge point with two EVSEs.
